Blogging assignment: Sports Supplement Product Review > MuscleTronic (Worldwide Bloggers)

According to the MuscleTronic website, their product is designed to do the following:

  • Enhance your physical strength and energy flow
  • Improve your cognitive function, focus and drive
  • Build quality, lean muscle
  • Increase fat burning
  • Elevate your mood and reduce stress
  • Expand your physical capabilities
  • Suitable for anyone of any fitness level
  • Fully dosed, quality performance supplement

Sounds like a knight in shining armor dressed up in pill form, right? I set out with the intention of taking this product for 30 days to see what would happen.

My first impression of these pills was that they were large, stinky, and weird-tasting. It also was a bit inconvenient for me to remember to take them with my breakfast AND lunch. This might have been a bit easier for someone who has some sort of daily vitamin or supplement schedule in place, but that’s not the case for me. I forged on and eventually started swallowing them with some kombucha or juice instead of plain water, which masked the smell and taste.

After a few days of taking them they started to give me an upset stomach on some days, especially in the afternoon. I did notice that my focus was better, though. I struggle with forgetting to do small tasks throughout my day, but while I was taking MuscleTronic I accomplished more and was rarely forgetful. I was really hoping for that muscle gain and fat loss, though – which (whomp whomp) didn’t happen.

I am already relatively lean and very active, so I was hoping the MuscleTronic would just give me a little nudge past my plateau. After taking it for 3.5 weeks (I abandoned it before the full 30 days because of the upset stomachs), I had only lost .5% body fat and gained no lean muscle. The very small body fat decrease I attribute to clean eating, running, hiking, golfing, and strength training regularly.

Overall, I don’t think this product did much for me physically and I was discouraged by the stomachaches. I really appreciated that it seemed to improve my my mental focus and memory, though.

I was compensated for an honest review of this product.
